Privacy Policy

SaveMoney Agent ("SaveMoney", "we") operates a text-message assistant and the website savemoneyagent.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Phone number. When you message our iMessage line, we store the number you text from so we can reply and keep your context.

Messages. We store the messages you send and the replies we send you, so the conversation can continue across sessions.

Notes you ask us to remember. Anything you send with "remember:" is saved to your personal notes.

Google account data (only if you connect it). If you text "connect google" and approve access, we can read your Gmail to find purchase receipts. We store only what we extract: merchant, date, amount, and order number. We do not store the full text of your emails, and we never read your mail without that explicit connection. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings (Security → Third-party access).

Click records. When you use a link we share, we record that the link was clicked and a random, non-identifying ID. We never put your phone number in a URL.

2. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your messages or notes with advertisers. We do not read your email unless you connect your Google account yourself.

3. Service providers

We rely on third parties to operate: a messaging provider (iMessage delivery), an AI model provider (to compose replies), a browser-sandbox provider (to research pages you share), an integration platform (for Google account connections you opt into), and cloud hosting (to run the service and store data). These providers process data only to deliver the service.

4. Affiliate disclosure

Some replies include partner offers. If you buy through a tracked link, SaveMoney may earn a commission. Links are opaque click IDs and are always disclosed in the message itself.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Text "delete my data" and we will delete your profile, notes, conversation history, and any stored receipts. Email connections you revoke are removed from our integration provider.

6. Security

Data is stored in an access-controlled managed database. Webhook traffic is signature-verified. No system is perfectly secure, but we minimize what we hold: we do not store email bodies or message attachments.

7. Children

SaveMoney is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will post the updated version on this page with a new date.
